Bluefusion Branding Process

Many of the brands that we develop, update or rebrand go through our BrandQuest Process. While the level of engagement will vary from client to client, a BrandQuest can involve one or several discussion sessions with the in-house marketing team, leadership, and/or other key stakeholders.

For new brand development, our goal is to develop an optimal brand solution. For rebranding, the objective is to “deconstruct” the existing brand, and “reconstruct” a new and better brand.

Engagement & Research

We meet with the client team to discuss the organization’s mission, vision, business objectives, product/service profiles, audience personas, and competitive landscape. We research the marketplace, target audiences, competition, market position, brand awareness, and brand perception.

Analysis & Strategy

We synthesizie and analyze notes from client meetings, market, audience and competitive research, and stakeholder interviews and prepare a Brand Analysis Report. Applying best practices, we formulate a strategy that will update the brand look and feel, redefine the brand promise, enhance the brand appeal, and elevate the brand positioning within the marketplace.

Design & Development

Based on research, client input, and strategic direction, we present several designs for client review and approval. We continue to revise and refine designs to arrive at the ideal brand solution that will work effectively in print, digital and multimedia.

Architecture & Assets

We develop the brand architecture—logo configurations, fonts, color systems, taglines, visual imagery, and voice, and produce a Brand Standards Manual. We design and develop a comprehensive system of branded assets, including collateral, marketing materials, ads, publications, website, social media pages, mobile apps, exhibits, signage, and other applications.

Deploy & Monitor

We deploy the new brand across all applicable mediums–printing new letterhead, business cards, marketing materials, publications, signage, apparel, vehicles; launching websets and mobile apps; updating social media pages; producing videos, commercial spots, and multimedia presentations. We continue to monitor the brand to ensure effectiveness.
